The Therein and hereinbefore mentioned sum of £140** and the interest thereof and also for indemnifying ____ against the consequences of such ²guarantee so entered into by him in respect of the said sum of £7,000 as therein and hereinbefore mentioned and also for securing the repayment to the ³said John Gladstone of the several sums of £1000 £100 and £1000 covenanted to be advanced by him to the said Henry Percy Hamer ⁴so therein mentioned the said John Gladstone covenanted with the said William Attwick Hamer and Henry Percy Hamer their executive administrator or assigns that he the said John Gladstone⁵his executors administrators or assigns would so long as he or they should continue to be the consignee or consignees of the crops and produce of the said Plantations and premises on or⁶before the first day of July in every year render unto the said William Attwick Hamer and Henry Percy Hamer or one of them their or one of their executors administrators or assigns a

But is part of the indentures His Wife Charles Wardroper and Henrietta his wife, Durell Stables and Ann his wife and William Ellis and Caroline his wife or their respective Trustees for principal and interest of the said legacies of their said respective wives the sum of seventy thousand pounds in the whole or thereabouts and to the said Samuel Blair Hamer Eliza Hamer Marianne Hamer Louisa Hamer and Catherine Hamer in respect of their aforesaid several legacies the sum of Thirty two thousand pounds in the whole or thereabouts and to the representatives of the said Mary Dyer in respect of her said Annuity the sum of twelve thousand pounds or thereabouts and to the representatives of the said Marianne Demiant* in respect of the arrears of her aforesaid Annuity the sum of One Thousand pounds or thereabouts and on the thirtieth day April then last upon a balance of accounts in which the said sum of three hundred and forty two pounds so paid and the said acceptance so given by the said John Gladstone as aforesaid were not included there was due to the said John Gladstone upon or by virtue of the aforesaid several (securities?) the sum of Ten thousand five hundred and seven pounds nineteen shillings and three pence in the whole or thereabouts the gross sums which were then due and _____ as( incumberment?) on the said plantation or Estates respectively called Endraght and Mon Repos amounted together the sum of One Hundred and forty two thousand one hundred and fifty one pounds six shillings and two pence or thereabouts and rest to be (borne?) by the shares of the said Michael Greathead Hamer in this said ________ and promised and that the said John Gladstone and paid or advanced the sum of one hundred and forty pounds on account of William Attwick Hamer and Henry Percy Hamer to defray certain said expenses in consideration of the covenants herein contained on the part of the said William Attwick Hamer Henry Percy Hamer and John Gladstone respectively securing the payment to the said Michael Greatheed Hamer of the several sums of Seven thousand pounds and three thousand pounds making together the sum of Ten thousand pounds and for ____ indemnity of the said Michael Greatheed Hamer as therin is mentioned All ___ ___ one Equal undivided third part or share the whole into three equal parts or _____ being undivided as divided and all (other ?) the part or of parts or shares (if any) to which the said Michael Greatheed Hamer was under the will of the said Joseph Hamer or other___ ____ of and in the said plantations and Estates called Endraght and Mon Repos therein and her in after particularly dedcribed and of and in all buildings worked shared ____ stock effect and app____s hereto belonging and the annual sum or · *Mother of Samuel, Eliza, Catherine, Louisa Hamer· ** written in long hand not numerals
